T.G.I.F

Today was a beautiful and quiet Friday.

A couple cold and rainy walks with Marley, and a few errands.

Yesterday, I went thrifting and found an ugly brass (but vintage) picture frame. When I got home, I promptly cleaned the glass, and spray painted it white. Today it was dry, so I slipped in one of my prints...

I had a couple orders to wrap for shipment tomorrow. That's always exciting, and I always pray the customer is MORE satisfied than what the pictures show.

Then, I completed a custom order for what I suspect is going to be a LOVELY wedding...

Can you imagine the flower girls throwing these instead of rice? Sigh.....

Have a lovely weekend.

A little peek.

I need to blog more.

Sigh.....

Anyway, on to pictures. I need to take more pics of my tiny work studio. I really do love it. With the trees in front of the window, it's like a little treehouse in which to create.

Like a Monchichi. They live in the trees. Ah, early 80's cartoons.

One of my cluttered yet colorful shelves. And some art that can be found in my shop!

Pics from the PGE Holiday Bazaar

A few challenges during this fair.

1 - Downtown Portland is a challenging place to have a craft fair when you are a VENDOR. Tables, boxes, fake Christmas tree, chairs, oy vey. I was blessed, though. I got great parking all 3 days.

2 - They provided tables, but only 5'. You'll see my items are slightly crammed onto the table. Tee hee.

3 - Occupy Portland. Ok, they came out in droves on the 17th, the last day of the fair. I think they must have heard about my felt hair clips. Tee hee.  I'm sure scenes like this one kept little old ladies away, and office workers in their cubbies...

Oh, i'm sorry. I forgot to mention this was literally happening outside of our sweet little bazaar windows.

Anyway, I made a few sales, as well as a GREAT connection.

My bright and happy table!

I use a tray method for defining my "departments"

Paper Christmas Ornaments. You can purchase these HERE!

Next fair - Laurelhurst Winter Bazaar on Dec 4th from 9-4. Come and show the love!
